This week has one of our team on a mission trip to Africa, one member volunteering and serving our National Guard, and three of us manning the PrayMore computers in Littleton.
Please join me in praising God for good meetings with church leaders - and more on the horizon. Our number one prayer is that churches will see how PrayMore can help them connect with God and each other and see lives changed through prayer. One pastor-elder really encouraged us this week when he said, "this is not just an app to add on the side, this is helping us live into our calling as Christians." Amen! Let's go!
Please pray that God keeps our entire team safe, physically and spiritually, this week. Prayer is always the best defense, but not our only defense - we must also act. I love the example of Nehemiah leading the teams in rebuilding of the walls in Jerusalem. What a scary task as their enemies, "...all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it. And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night." (Nehemiah 4:8–9, ESV)
As we build our app, there are threats and enemies all around. We need to always start with protection by prayer - and then act. Set a guard and get to work.
