Many Prayers of Praise

Our team of eight returned home a couple of days ago, after serving at the Sing! Conference together at our booth and the Prayer Lounge. I often tell people there is little that is more powerful than someone praying for you—I certainly have experienced that. But, not surprisingly, singing prayers of praise with 7,000 gifted worshipers from around the globe also ranks really high! What an encouragement to be reminded that God’s plan is epic, glorious, and loving—and his people are carrying it out all around us—and we get to be part of it.

So let’s praise the Lord together:

• Lord, we your redeemed in all 50 states and dozens of countries, gather right now as one to praise you! We are scattered around the world, doing your work, but one day we will gather as one uncountable throng around your throne to do the same thing—to praise you!
• Instead of being discouraged at how small we are, how imperfect we are, we worship you for using us to carry out your incredible plan. You are this story’s only hero, so we can enjoy you and the peace that comes from letting go of a self-centered life. We want the best life—a Jesus-centered life.
• We do ask that you use the seeds planted by the PrayMore team (and many, many others) at this conference, to burst into hundreds of thousands of real, enduring, glorifying prayers in the months and years to come. Lord, draw our hearts and eyes to where they belong and where they long to be. Amen.
