Let's Give 2026 to the Lord

Welcome to a brand-new year—take a deep breath, it still has that strange but wonderful new-car smell! Enjoy it while it lasts, because one morning you’ll wake up and it’ll feel normal to be living in 2026.

There are endless possibilities for what will happen in our lives this year, and it will race by faster than ever. (Just look back at last year and you’ll see what I mean on both counts.) So let’s start this year by giving it to the Lord in prayer—including some big events coming soon for PrayMore.

• Lord Jesus, thank you for this fresh start. Please help us live this year with John Wesley’s attitude from over two hundred years ago, “Though I am always in a haste, I am never in a hurry, because I never undertake more work than I can go through with perfect calmness of spirit.”
• God, please help the PrayMore team as they prepare for their annual planning retreat and then two conferences in February—Serious Joy in Minnesota and G3 in Georgia.
• Lord, we rest in your loving hands and know you will accomplish everything perfectly that you have planned for us in 2026! So, we give this year to you.
