"In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." –Psalm 4:8
Summer is here, and with it, our team has been taking some much-needed time to rest. Some of us have gone on trips, others have enjoyed motorcycle rides in the mountains, and some have simply spent a day off with friends.
In programming, when we need to identify and fix bugs, we often use something called a “breakpoint.” A breakpoint causes the program to pause at a specific line of code so the developer can slow down, take a closer look, and better understand what is happening.
In a similar way, it is good for us as a team to pause from our daily work and reflect on what God is doing through PrayMore. Sometimes, in the day-to-day details of building and improving the app, it can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. But God is using this work. More people are praying around the world through the app we are building. More people are growing in their prayer life and learning how to pray.
Even when it feels like we are simply writing lines of code, those lines are being written for the glory of God and for the strengthening of the church. We are grateful to be part of this work, and we are grateful for your prayers.
Thank you for praying with us!
