A Life Touched

In early June, we headed to Indianapolis for the TGCW conference—one team member even drove our booth and merch out from Colorado!

It was a privilege to speak with hundreds of wonderful Christian women who were excited to use our app to pray more with their bible studies, families, and friends (see above). I love stats and outcomes as much as anyone (ask my team), but one story from this conference means more to me than the numbers.

On the last day, when all the attendees were being blessed by a world-class speaker, a woman stopped by our booth. From her uniform, I could see that she was working at the conference food court. She told me she wanted to learn to pray, “which sounds kinda silly.” I immediately replied, “Not at all!” and recommended she try our Beginning a Relationship with God prayer challenge in the app. I offered to help her look up good churches nearby using the TGC Churches search tool, and she immediately pulled out her phone, and we got a list!

This is just one story of a life touched because PrayMore exists to bring people closer to God and each other through prayer.

• Please thank God for this new PrayMore friend and pray that she would know Jesus and get plugged into a loving church family. And pray the same for all the similar stories of people we are touching but haven’t met personally.
• Pray for the users in almost 1,000 prayer groups to invite more people to join and to pray faithfully for one another.
• Finally, pray for our coding team as they build new features to release before we host the Prayer Lounge for 8,000 people at the Sing! Conference this Fall.
